everyone is gone again. im alone in my room jumping on the bed. you think i should be committed. i agree but i laugh off almost everything.
EVERYTHING
canvas shoes in the snow. purposely losing my phone. cutting my hair half drunk again. most of the time i regret everything i decide.
I DECIDE
throwing ice cubes on the lawn just to pause time. i wrote my fears on a stolen bottle of pink champagne and threw it in what i thought was a river, but i guess it was probably the atlantic. i can't remember names or much of anything.
I FORGET
these days i cant let go of anything. it sticks to me like sweat. i did myself a favor, i forgot your middle name. but it all came rushing back to me, and now i cant forget. i left my mattress in your basement. do you remember the bloody nose stain you gave it? does she even question it? do you ever think about it?
I RAN HOME
i took a long look at myself under ground. "one of these days ill get my shit together, i swear".
it was the last thing i wrote down.
